Our People
Dr Nick von Randow
Associate - Public Health
Nick brings specialist skills in epidemiology, public health data systems, health service design, health promotion, policy and strategy development and programme evaluation. He has specific expertise in the health impacts of urban environments and transport systems, including in housing, air quality, urban design and active transport.
Nick is a medical doctor and a Fellow of the New Zealand College of Public Health Medicine, and was recently a Clinical Chief Advisor at the Ministry of Health. He has 10 years of experience in public health and prevention in New Zealand and Ireland, and has worked in local and national public health roles for Health New Zealand, and in private consultancy roles. He has also lectured in public health at the University of Auckland and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
