TRANSPORT

Accessibility is the potential for interaction with locations dispersed over space

Our team currently lead some of the most important transport research and strategy topics. This includes providing expert advice on transport appraisal, transformative change, VKT and freight, emission reduction policies and decision making under deep uncertainty.

We have extensive experience in economic modelling with specialised skills in econometrics, big data, simulation and geographic information systems (GIS).
Our team has been chosen to work on incorporating equity effects into NZ Transport Agency’s Cost Benefit Analysis framework, investigating how an adaptive decision-making approach could be included in the MBCM, and assessing interventions to reduce emissions and VKT.
